The last string assigned to %%b will be _laststring.ext, so the value assigned to newname will fit the processing requirement, so rename the file. Use a simple for to assign newname to the original filename with the _string removed (replaced by nothing) and add back the extension using %%~xa. WIth each name found, using delayed expansion, assign the name to filename and then replace each _ with Space_ Perform a directory scan of all filenames matching the mask. ![]() After you've verified that the commands are correct, change ECHO(REN to REN to actually rename the files. In Drafts, you can have pre-designed project templates and send it over to OmniFocus. you don’t stop to use your mouse or tap on the iPad. ![]() The beauty of using nvALT or Drafts is to rapid fire type away a bunch of actions quickly. Then boom, like magic, it appears in OmniFocus… I can choose to put it inside a folder or inside an existing project. I installed a Taskpaper to OF action in Drafts 5. There will only be one file called happy. I want to be able to rename this file to whatever I want. Hit the Drafts button icon at the top right ( the square outline under the battery icon). I only know a certain part of the files name, for instance that it starts with happy. The next few lines are indented and will be the tasks inside the project. Here’s an example of what I typed into Drafts 5: Sometimes it’s easier to go to Drafts 5 and rapid fire a bunch of tasks. If I wanted to quickly enter a bunch of tasks in OmniFocus 3 on my iPad, I would have to go to OmniFocus and create a new task, hit the Save + button and keep adding new tasks. I’ve never used nvALT but I imagine the same thing happens in Drafts 5.
